Obsidian Star is a jet black embryo bull that is the product of a flush of CK Overwhelming Signal, a wonderful cow we previously owned, and sired by J.R. Seman, a full brother to J.R. Grand Slam. I loved the looks of this calf from the moment his mama dried him off. I think he is going to be something special. I recovered 21 good embryos when Signal was flushed to J.R. Seman. They have been frozen for about four years and now get a chance to really shine. In the words of Eddie Woods this calf is "blacker than four foot up a stove pipe!" (Picture taken 09/18/08)
