Sarasam is a beautiful black and white daughter of Quill and Samsara. Currently she is the longest horned black and white Texas Longhorn cow of record measuring 75.75" tip to tip. There are only two black Texas Longhorn cows (that I know of) that measure over 70" - Sarasam and BL Night Safari. This is a pretty elite group! Her femininity, correct conformation and gentle disposition make her a complete package. Sarasam is proving to be quite a producer for us. Some of her progeny are shown below. One of her top daughters is FCF Freedom Rings sired by The Shadow. Sarasam has also had outstanding heifers sired by FCF Frontier Justice, Roundup and FCF His Majesty. Last year she was flushed to JM Sue and we got five embryo calves from that breeding. In 2006 Sarasam had a grulla and white bull calf sired by American Star. We recently steered him since we are getting fabulous steers from American Star. She was flushed to Awesome Viagra and produced 13 good embryos. We have seven pregnancies on the way from this flush. We flushed her one more time but didn't get any embryos so she has been exposed to Battle Star for a natural calf. I recently confirmed her pregnant to Battle Star.
