J.R. Joyful is the kind of producer we are pleased to have in our herd. She is the dam of nine natural registered calves, seven of which are cows. We also had eight embryo calves from Joyful. She has produced two daughters with at or near 70" horns. She is a huge cow weighing around 1350 lb. Joyful was flushed to our herd sires, American Star and Stars A Jumpin'. Next Joyful had a bull calf sired by the TLBAA Horn Showcase Champion WS Jamakizm. We have held Joyful open for several months while she recovered from an injury to her rear leg. However she is much better now and has been bred to Starbase Commander. (Picture taken 04/17/05)
