These babies are some of the 2007 and 2008 calf crop at our place. We have calves sired by our premier herd sires, FCF His Majesty, Stars A Jumpin', Battle Star and 50 Caliber Star. Through our artificial insemination program we have calves produced by many other top sires in the industry. In our breeding program we match each cow individually to a sire to select for color, horn, milking ability and temperament. Our goal is to preserve the uniqueness of the Texas Longhorn and select for the characteristics that make this breed so desirable. We place a big emphasis on horn but do not neglect confirmation, milking ability, reproductive soundness and color. We have a very colorful group of calves and yearlings to choose from. Most of the calves shown below will be for sale although we are retaining some as replacements and some to add to our breeding stock. I generally wait until weaning to price the calves so the buyer has a better feel for what they are buying. If you see one that you like, just let me know and you will be the first to hear from me when it is ready to go.
